From mission speaker Father Mark Cherry:
Dearly Beloved:
I am delighted to have been invited to come to your parish and I look forward to meeting you during the days of the Parish Mission.
The theme of our three-day mission is, “Show us Your face, Lord.”
The Mission is for anyone seeking meaning and purpose in life. It is designed to facilitate a personal experience of the love of God through Jesus Christ. When we experience God’s love, it transforms us and gives us new meaning, purpose, and hope. We are radically loved by God and He desires an intimate personal relationship with each of us.
Come and hear about God’s love and how we can experience it each day in our lives through the Holy Spirit. Come and find wisdom and direction for your life. Come and discover how to live your divine mission.
During the Mission you will experience inspiring praise and worship, dynamic preaching, and teaching of God’s Word, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, and opportunity for the Sacrament of Reconciliation. On our last evening, we will celebrate Holy Mass, the greatest prayer of the Church. Following Mass, there will be an opportunity for a fresh empowering of the Holy Spirit.
I look forward to seeing you and experiencing what God will do as His people gather in His Name.
Sincerely in Christ, Father Mark Cherry.
