All are invited to a blessing of the Children’s Memorial at Saint Michael’s Cemetery 11:30am Sunday October 25.
More than 2,200 children are lovingly interred in the cemetery’s children’s section – each one known by name, with records carefully preserved so that no child is forgotten. Many of these little ones were called home long ago, taken by illnesses such as diphtheria, meningitis, and scarlet fever. While grave markers may no longer remain for all of them, their names endure in our records as a testament to their dignity and to the care of those who laid them to rest.
Please join us as we honour their memory and pray for all children.
